The latest threat to users involves a fake Flash Player update which pops up during a preview of a pornographic video.

Once you click on the link to update your video player, malware (the name given to malicious software), downloads onto your computer.

This Trojan horse software gives the creator of the malware remote access to your computer.

They can then download viruses onto your computer.

Earlier today ESPN recruiting analyst Gerry Hamilton attempted to update the Twittersphere on ESPN’s 29th ranked recruit in the country, Roquan Smith. With signing day exactly two weeks from today, it’s getting hot and heavy on the recruiting trail and Hamilton wanted to let us all know that Smith had scheduled an official visit for January 30th at Texas A&M. Smith had already visited Georgia and Michigan. He helpfully hashtagged #gigem after his report and then attempted to link Hamilton’s highlight video.

Only, he posted the wrong link.

Her mother shared the discovery with her other daughter from a previous marriage. Michaela’s half-sister Janet knew someone adept at computer forensics.

Michaela was sheltered from the details, but according to her mother it was used three times in her bedroom and once in her bathroom.

A news release from the department said the girls also kicked the boy in the groin and dragged him by his hair. They also got him to walk onto a partially frozen pond. When the boy fell through several times, they made him get out each time by himself, police said.

Detectives found videos on the girls’ cell phones.

Federal investigators also said that in October, child pornography files were being offered for download on an Internet peer-to-peer network linked to Loskarn’s residential IP address. It included a 28-minute video of graphic material featuring children reportedly as young as 6 years old, authorities said.

In his letter, which was found after his death and reportedly posted online by his family, Loskarn wrote about how tormented he felt when thinking about sharing his struggles with friends and family. He apologized to the victims who were in the videos, as well as anyone touched by the scandal.

His identity is currently unknown but agents say he may be involved with child exploitation and the sexual abuse of a minor.

Video of the man engaging in sexually explicit activities was found online in April 2013 by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Investigators have isolated images from the video in the hopes of tracking this person down.
