Late last week, Anon-IB, the anonymous image board that served as one of the central forums for hackers stealing and sharing nude photos from iCloud, came back online after a prolonged “maintenance” outage. The thousands of archived posts in its “/stol/” section, devoted to discussion of how to crack iCloud and steal unwitting victims’ compromising selfies, have been deleted. Those posts have been replaced with new ones from frustrated hackers lamenting that their sext-stealing hobby isn’t what it used to be.

Facebook is apologizing for a stunningly inappropriate advertisement featuring a photograph of a Canada teen who died after months of bullying.

The advertisement was posted on the world’s largest social networking site on Tuesday where it was discovered by Andrew Ennals, a copy writer, who took a screen grab of the photo.

A 15-year-old Florida girl was arrested yesterday on a child pornography charge for allegedly showing several classmates a photo on her iPhone depicting “two juveniles engaged in oral sex,” police report.

The girl admitted to “taking the pornographic photo,” according to a complaint affidavit filed by the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. The document, sworn by a detective, does not identify the juveniles in the photo, though a sheriff’s spokesperson said that the teen herself is one of the minors depicted.

NORTH HIGHLANDS (CBS13) — A child porn investigation is under way at Hillsdale Elementary School in North Highlands after students were found passing around an inappropriate photo of a female student.

After phone calls today, the Twin Rivers School District confirmed over the weekend that the naked photo of a sixth-grader had been sent electronically to some students. This week, other students passed it around.

Even Mark Zuckerberg’s family can get tripped up by Facebook’s privacy settings.

A picture that Zuckerberg’s sister posted on her personal Facebook profile was seen by a marketing director, who then posted the picture to Twitter and her more than 40,000 followers Wednesday.

That didn’t sit well with Zuckerberg’s sister, Randi, who tweeted at Callie Schweitzer that the picture was meant for friends only and that posting the private picture on Twitter was “way uncool.” Schweitzer replied by saying the picture popped up on her Facebook news feed.
