The photos show the contents of Portway’s sound proof basement, accessed by a home built staircase. The pictures include images of a child sized box, also sound proofed, containing straps to restrain victims. In addition was a cage approximately 3′ wide, 2’high and 4′ long, kitted with a mattress, a sturdy lid and multiple locks. Amongst Portway’s other possessions police found a child sizes jumpsuits, books, and DVD’s on cannibalism along with a ‘deluxe butchers set’ of knives.
