Witnesses told deputies that a 14-year-old was walking home with friends when he confronted the 16-year-old about a Facebook post, the Sheriff’s Office said.

“He indicated to his father that the 14-year-old tried to approach him at school to confront him regarding the Facebook post,” said Twis Lizasuain of the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. “He ignored him the majority of the day, when he was walking home, that’s when the 14-year-old confronted him.”

The former head of a private preparatory school in Miami, Florida is out an $80,000 discrimination settlement after his daughter boasted about it on Facebook.

Patrick Snay, 69 — the former head of Gulliver Preparatory School — filed an age discrimination complaint when his 2010-11 contract wasn’t renewed.

In November 2011, the school and Snay came to an agreement in which Snay would be paid $10,000 in back pay, and an $80,000 settlement. Gulliver Schools also agreed to cut Snay’s attorneys a check for $60,000.

But before the ink could dry on the deal, Snay’s daughter took to Facebook, boasting, “Mama and Papa Snay won the case against Gulliver. Gulliver is now officially paying for my vacation to Europe this summer. SUCK IT.”

Stalking charges have been dropped against two teenage girls in connection with the alleged bullying of another Florida girl who took her own life.

The two girls, aged 12 and 14, are said to have hounded Rebecca Sedwick online for a year.

A lawyer for the 12-year-old has demanded an apology from Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd for the arrest.

But Sheriff Judd said he did not have any regrets and that the girls will now receive “the services they need”.

“Our goal is that these kids never bully anyone again, never torment anyone again,” he said.
‘Troubled young girl’

The girls were arrested a month after Rebecca, 12, jumped to her death from a tower at an abandoned concrete plant on 9 September.

A 15-year-old Florida girl was arrested yesterday on a child pornography charge for allegedly showing several classmates a photo on her iPhone depicting “two juveniles engaged in oral sex,” police report.

The girl admitted to “taking the pornographic photo,” according to a complaint affidavit filed by the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. The document, sworn by a detective, does not identify the juveniles in the photo, though a sheriff’s spokesperson said that the teen herself is one of the minors depicted.

According to Ruth Corley, a spokesperson for the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, investigators arrested a dozen people as part of the operation, which included Antonio Emanuel. Investigators charged Emanuel, 21, of East Saunders Road, with traveling to meet a minor for sexual activity and soliciting a child via the internet.
