A Greenville bus driver has been arrested after police say he had “inappropriate text conversations” with a 15-year-old boy who rode on his bus.
Investigators have identified the driver as 29-year-old Leo Bowen. He was taken into custody on Oct. 3.

An Opp high school teacher is on leave after she was arrested for having sex with two different students, police said.
Ashley Hall, 33, was booked into the Covington County Jail on May 1, according to jail records. She is charged with two counts of a school employee engaging in a sex act or deviant sexual intercourse with a student under the age of 19.
She was released from the jail the same day after posting $700,000 bond, $350,000 for each count. Hall taught English at Opp High School, according to the school’s website.

A Blount County school administrator was arrested early this morning on felony charges that he videotaped a 14-year-old girl nude in the bathroom without her knowledge.
Tim Clevenger, the 48-year-old assistant principal at Locust Fork High School, is charged with production of obscene matter, criminal surveillance and possession of obscene matter, according to court records. The incident happened more than a year ago, but school IT officials recently discovered the video on Clevenger’s school computer.

Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man Monday and charged him with indecent exposure for allegedly exposing himself to middle-schoolers in Ralph, Ala. last fall.
Sgt. Alex Miles said Collins-Riverside Middle School notified the sheriff’s office in November that an unknown man had exposed himself to several female students there.

A grand jury indicted Matthew Shane Wester, 37, on one count of a teacher have sexual contact with a student. Wester, a math teacher and coach at Cleveland High School, was placed on paid leave in November 2014 amid the allegations. School officials today said he remains on leave pending the outcome of the criminal case.

An Opp woman has been arrested in an ongoing child sex crimes investigation.
Mandi Brianna Harrison, 25, of Opp, was arrested Friday and charged with rape second degree and sodomy second degree, according to a news release from the Opp Police Department.
Police opened an investigation after receiving a report of a woman having sexual contact with a child. The victim is a child under the age of 16, according to police.

An Opp woman was jailed Saturday for allegedly having sex with a minor child, providing illegal drugs to a minor child and using illegal drugs the presence of a minor child.
According to the Opp Police Department, Tiffany A. Blair, 35, was arrested after an in-depth investigation between the OPD and the 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force.
Blair was charged with four counts of chemical endangerment of a child, rape II and sodomy II.
