One new article link has been added to our Related News page. AL.com published an article titled $6 million bond set for Hoover man charged with multiple sex crimes against a child.
A Hoover man arrested twice in five days on sex charges involving a minor child won’t be getting out of jail anytime soon, police said Thursday.
Bond for 32-year-old Jason Hankins is set at $6 million after U.S. Marshals took him into custody Wednesday night, just four days after he bonded out of the Shelby County Jail on similar charges.
Hankins worked at the Family Life Center at Shades Crest Baptist Church. He has resigned from that position. Church officials are not commenting on his arrests.
